Yesterday went shopping with my parents and brother at Suntec City. Had this interesting encounter with a homosexual couple in a lift. My blur mum never realised they were a couple, but of cos, being the more learned person, I noticed the similar lover rings they were wearing. And of cos there was their behaviour and clothing. And my dear innocent mum went,
"HUH? There are homosexuals in Singapore?!"

Me, "Of cos lar mummy. There are even I few I know personally."

Mum, "HUH? Girl ah.. but that's so scary!!"

Me, "No lar.. nothing to be scared about lar. They are just like you and me what. Just that they like people of their own sex."

Mum, "Huh.. then homosexual, also includes females right??"

Me, "Yar lar I know a few female homosexuals as well."

Mum, "Eh girl ah.. I tell you ah.. female homosexuals right.. don't go befriend them huh. They will drag you in to join their gang! No it's ok to lose a few friends."

Me, "No lar mummy. They are nice people. They will stick to their own gang lar. They are only friends to me. But they are nice friends."

Mum, "No lar girl.. this won't do lar. You have so many friends, is ok to have a few less friends. Don't be friends with them ok? Later you get pulled to join them how?"

Me, "NO lar mummy! Don't worry lar! I've been friends with them for so long, they never once got me to join them lar mummy! DON'T WORRY!"

Mum, "This won't do. Girl I tell you. Go find a boyfriend lar. I tell you what kind of boys are good. Don't look for boys who ask you to treat them to dinner and movies ok? (apparently she heard of someone's daughter who has such a boyfriend) And then look for boys who are hardworking and come from reputable universities. Don't look for lazy and good-for-nothing boys ok! And then ah girl, you must also.."

Me, "Ah mummy.. is ok. Yar I know I know. Yar yar yar. Yar lar yar lar. I intro my homo friends to you ok?"

Mum finally shuts up.

This is a typical case of huang shang bu ji tai jian ji! I'm not worried at all. Why the hell she soo worried?! Haiz. And the way she put it, it's as if the guys with all the good qualities are just nicely hung on a tree waiting for you to pluck lar! Haiz.. think she's been out of the market for too long, dunno the current situation at all! Where are all the good guys in Singapore?! Haha ok think I better shut up before I get assassinated by some MCP. Tataz!

Amended the above slightly cos immediately after posting it, yours truly received quite a number of msges from concerned friends, wanting to intro cute guys to me. Hey no worries people.. Last time I checked, I was still straight. Mebbe next time I check I will be a bit less straight, and the next time even more crooked and the next next time I will be.. yeah you kinda get the idea. Anyway now all the chiobus are still safe around me. At the most, I will only drool at their pics... and mebbe get a bit of a nosebleed and mebbe... Oops. K think I better stop here. Not that I'm rejecting any of your nice offers if you got real cute guys to intro! Hehe Tie I'm still considering that offer. OK enuf of that crap. Need to get some real studying done. Cya!
